According to Dr. Oz, these are the 5 things we all need to get out of our frig and out of our lives! Maybe you are watching his show too! Oh, gotta go. He's getting started and I don't want to miss anything.
1. Sugars, Syrups, Sodas, Jellies...anything with heavy sugar. Replace with whole food. Use strawberries instead of strawberry jelly.
3. White Flour. To make it white, all the nutrients are taken out. The nutrients are what make you feel full so you overeat if they are gone. Replace with 100% whole grain.
4. Saturated Fats. These are fats that come from 4-legged animals. Like Italian sausage. Replace with chicken, fish. You can even find sausage with no saturagted fats. Read the label.
5. Trans Fats. Also called partially hydrogenated oils. Some cookies and fried food contain trans fat. Instead eat rice cakes with real peanut butter.
